Suffolk Punch Horses are the rarest breed of English Cart horse.   They are among 4 horses on the endangered list of the Rare Breeds Society . (Cleveland Bay horse; Dales pony; Eriskay pony; Suffolk Horse).   This means there are less than 300 of these magnificent horses alive in the UK today.   One of the reasons Stephen & I   decided to   start the New Forest Horsedrawn Omnibus   was to make what contribution we   can to help keep these horses in work, prove they have a   practical role to   play in modern life, raise awareness and encourage people to keep on breeding them and using them outside of rare breed farms.

Sultan  - the leader of the herd
Jack  - the eldest
Rupert  - the most expensive Suffolk in the world
Obadiah  - the baby - named for Obadiah Elliott, the inventor of the road spring
