10th May 2008 - A New Groom

Sue was due to be working this weekend while we were away at Rockbourne so Jo agreed to stand in.  We had a fantastic weekend and Jo got 10/10 for her part in the proceedings, Steve was fifth in the Dressage and we were last overall - unsurprising as Rupe and Obie refused the water obstacle.

This is their first year in competition and they did well.  The team did better though, as we prepare for La Route Du Poisson, it is a truly impressive feat that of 12 teams 10 were within one second of the time and 8 were exactly on time!

So practice is needed for the youngsters in competition.

Sue did make it in the end, and she did a fantastic job of plaiting up the horses manes, it takes huge amounts of patience and cast iron fingers - you can see my attempt and Sue's finished article!
